For additional savings, many of the door systems and windows are available with the option of thermally broken aluminum, which features an insulating barrier that increases energy performance.

Western Windows Systems products are made with aluminum, a highly recyclable material. The aluminum is recycled as well as materials such as vinyl, cardboard, and paper. The wood panels are certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council), a group that ensures products are made with, or contain, wood from FSC certified forests.
